What’s an October fall trip without a stop at a pumpkin patch? Upon our arrival in Stowe, we made a quick pit stop at a very picturesque and very accessible one. This pumpkin patch, which can be found near the large supermarket Shaw’s Market, is mostly unmanned, with no one nearby to laugh at our funny posing.
So, how do you pay for a pumpkin? There is a trailer nearby with an open window and a small pile of money where others have paid for their pumpkin goods. The whole patch operates on an honor system, it appears, although it would be very hard to sneak off with one of these giant gourds – this is certainly a healthy crop!
