Like me, you’ve probably seen the pictures of Vermont in the fall and thought to yourself, “there’s no way that the colors are this vibrant. They must have filtered this photo heavily.”
Well, me too, until I got to Woodstock, Vermont. Then my doubt dissipated into disbelief: why hadn’t I been aware of this beautiful autumn heaven until now? To give you an example of how storybook, picture-perfect this area is, these pictures were taken on some random road leading off from the Silver Lake State Park, near Barnard, Vermont, actually. As in, I’m not even sure where we took these pictures because we were just driving around, admiring the foliage, when I saw the most beautiful clearing I had ever laid eyes on and had to pull the car over. It turns out that autumn heaven can be found anywhere near and around this beautiful area.
