Stowe is a beautiful place to be running around outdoors all day — so beautiful, in fact, that we basically skipped lunch to maximize our time in the golden outdoors — but when dinnertime came around, all I could think about was being bundled up near a warm fire in a lodge somewhere where I didn’t have to move anymore. We took our tired selves to one of the most picturesque inns and restaurants: Edson Hill. Sitting on top of a hill and overlooking a petite lake, it was such a welcome sight for our sore calves. (And made for a lovely final fall photo before we put our cameras away for the day and dove head first into some lovely cocktails).
Long cardigan: Theory, similar one here from Nordstrom (on sale!) // Boots: snakeskin ones here // Chanel caramel mini rectangular flap bag: here from Fashionphile (5% off!)
Unfortunately, I was too busy scarfing down the wonderful dinner fare to take many pictures of the food (but I will say, get the scallops and brussel sprouts covered in a candied sauce with bacon!), but you can see the videos I took of this wonderful restaurant if you scroll through my Instagram carousel below. If we’re ever in Stowe again, I know where I’ll be making a reservation.
